सोमः पुनान ऊर्मिणाव्यो वारं वि धावति । अग्रे वाचः पवमानः कनिक्रदत् ॥
Transliteration
sómaḥ punānā́ ūrmíṇā́vyo vā́raṃ ví dhā́vati | ágre vā́caḥ pávamānaḥ kaníkradat ||
Translation
సోముడు తనను తాను పునానుడై, ఊర్మితో కలిసి అవి-రోమ వారము (వడపోత) గుండా ధావిస్తాడు. వాచః అగ్రంలో పవమానుడు కని॑క్రదత్—ధ్వనిస్తూ గర్జిస్తూ, అంతరంలోనుండి వాణిని మేల్కొలుపుతాడు.
