अपादु शिप्र्यन्धसः सुदक्षस्य प्रहोषिणः । इन्दोरिन्द्रो यवाशिरः ॥

Transliteration

ápādu śiprī́ ándhasaḥ su-dákṣasya pra-hóṣiṇaḥ | índor índro yávā-śiraḥ ||

Translation

దృఢ-దవడలవాడైన (శిప్ర్య) ఇంద్రుడు, సుదక్షుడై, సమృద్ధిగా పీడించే (ప్రహోషిణ) అంధస్ (సోమరసం) త్రాగుగాక. ఇందువின் ఇంద్రుడు—యవాశిర (యవం/బార్లీ మిశ్రమ శిరస్సు)—మన విజయార్థం ఆ ఆనందరసాన్ని తన బలంలో స్వీకరించుగాక.
