यो म इमं चिदु त्मनामन्दच्चित्रं दावने । अरट्वे अक्षे नहुषे सुकृत्वनि सुकृत्तराय सुक्रतुः ॥
Transliteration
yó ma imáṃ cid u tmánām andac citráṃ dā́vane | araṭvé ákṣe náhuṣe su-kṛ́tvani sukṛ́t-tarāya su-krátuḥ ||
Translation
నన్ను కూడా—ఈ ఆత్మనే—చిత్ర (దీప్తిమయ) దానార్థం ఆనందింపజేసేవాడు; తిరుగుతున్న అక్షంలో, నహుషునికై—సుకృత (సత్కర్మకర్త) కొరకు, ఇంకా శ్రేష్ఠమైన సుకృతతరునికొరకు—అతడు సుక్రతు (దీప్త సంకల్పం/ప్రకాశ బుద్ధి గలవాడు).
