हुवे वातस्वनं कविं पर्जन्यक्रन्द्यं सहः । अग्निं समुद्रवाससम् ॥
Transliteration
húve vā́ta-svanaṃ kavíṃ párjanya-krandyaṃ sáhaḥ | agníṃ samudrá-vāsasam ||
Translation
వాత-స్వన (గాలిలా ధ్వనించే) కవిని, పర్జన్య-క్రంద్య (మేఘవర్షంలా గర్జించే) సహస్ (బలం) అయినవానిని—సముద్ర-వాసం (సముద్ర-గర్భంలో) నివసించే అగ్నిని నేను ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాను.
