Transliteration

ā́ tvā́dya sabar-dúghāṃ huvé gāyatra-vépasam | índraṃ dhenúṃ su-dúghām anyā́m íṣam uru-dhā́rām araṃ-kṛ́tam ||

Translation

ఈ రోజు నేను నిన్ను ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాను—సమృద్ధిగా పాలు దోయించే, గాయత్రీ-ప్రేరిత శక్తీ. ఇంద్రుని నేను సంపూర్ణత యొక్క ధేనువుగా, సుదుగ్ధమైన పోషణగా; అలాగే మన కొరకు సిద్ధపరచబడిన, మరొక—ఇంకా విస్తారమైన—ధారాసమృద్ధి బలంగా ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాను.
