Sukta 7.56
भूरि चक्र मरुतः पित्र्याण्युक्थानि या वः शस्यन्ते पुरा चित् । मरुद्भिरुग्रः पृतनासु साळ्हा मरुद्भिरित्सनिता वाजमर्वा ॥
bhū́ri cakra marutaḥ pitryā́ṇy ukthā́ni yā́ vaḥ śásyante purā́ cit | marúdbhir ugráḥ pṛ́tanāsu sā́ḷhā marúdbhir ít sánitā vā́jam árvā ||
హే మరుతులారా, మీరు ఎంతో చేసారు—పూర్వకాలం నుంచే మీకు పాడబడిన పితృయ ఉక్థాలు (స్తుతులు) కూడా. మరుతులతో ఉగ్రుడు (వీరుడు) యుద్ధాలలో జయించేవాడవుతాడు; మరుతులతోనే అశ్వం బలసమృద్ధి (వాజ)ను పొందుతుంది।
