Sukta 7.33
दूरादिन्द्रमनयन्ना सुतेन तिरो वैशन्तमति पान्तमुग्रम् । पाशद्युम्नस्य वायतस्य सोमात्सुतादिन्द्रोऽवृणीता वसिष्ठान् ॥
dūrā́d índram anayan nā́ suténa tiró vaiśántam áti pā́ntam ugrám | pā́śa-dyumnasya vāyátasya sómāt sutā́d índro ’vṛṇītā vásiṣṭhān ||
దూరం నుంచే వారు పిండిన సోమముతో ఇంద్రుణ్ణి ఇక్కడికి నడిపించారు—చుట్టుముట్టే శక్తులను దాటి, కాపాడబడిన, ఉగ్రమైన (అడ్డంకులను) కూడా దాటి. పాశద్యుమ్న వాయత పిండిన సోమమునుండి ఇంద్రుడు వసిష్ఠులను ఎంచుకున్నాడు—కార్యార్థం వారిని తనవారిగా చేసుకొని.
