Sukta 7.33
सत्रे ह जाताविषिता नमोभिः कुम्भे रेतः सिषिचतुः समानम् । ततो ह मान उदियाय मध्यात्ततो जातमृषिमाहुर्वसिष्ठम् ॥
satré ha jātā́viṣitā námobhiḥ kumbhé rétaḥ sisicatuḥ samānám | táto ha mā́na úd iyāya mádhyāt táto jātám ṛ́ṣim āhur vasiṣṭhám ||
సత్రంలో (యజ్ఞ‑సత్రంలో), జనన సమయంలో నమస్కారాలతో ప్రేరితులై, వారు ఒకే సామాన్య రేతః (బీజం) ను కుంభంలో పోశారు. అక్కడి నుండి మధ్యభాగం నుంచి ప్రాణ‑స్వరూపమైన ‘మాన్’ పైకి లేచింది; అక్కడి నుంచే జన్మించినవాడిని ఋషి అని అంటారు—సత్యంలో ప్రతిష్ఠితుడైన వసిష్ఠుడు.
