Sukta 7.30
हवन्त उ त्वा हव्यं विवाचि तनूषु शूराः सूर्यस्य सातौ । त्वं विश्वेषु सेन्यो जनेषु त्वं वृत्राणि रन्धया सुहन्तु ॥
hávanta u tvā havyáṃ vívāci tanū́ṣu śūrā́ḥ sū́ryasya sātáu | tváṃ víśveṣu sényo jáneṣu tváṃ vṛtrā́ṇi randhayā suhántu ||
దూరంగా ప్రతిధ్వనించే వాక్యంతో వారు నిన్ను—హవ్యము (ఆహుతి) రూపంగా—ఆహ్వానిస్తారు; సూర్య-విజయసాధనలో, తమ తనువులలో స్థితులైన శూరవీరులు. నీవు సమస్త జనులలో ‘సేన్య’ (యుద్ధయోగ్యుడు); ‘వృత్ర’ (అవరోధక శక్తులు) అన్నిటిని నీవు వశపరచి, అవి ‘సుహంతు’—సువిధంగా ప్రహరింపబడి నశించునట్లు చేయుదువు.
