Sukta 7.28
हवं त इन्द्र महिमा व्यानड्ब्रह्म यत्पासि शवसिन्नृषीणाम् । आ यद्वज्रं दधिषे हस्त उग्र घोरः सन्क्रत्वा जनिष्ठा अषाळ्हः ॥
haváṃ ta indra mahimā́ vyā́naḍ bráhma yát pā́si śavasinn ṛ́ṣīṇām | ā́ yád vájraṃ dadhíṣe hásta ugra ghoráḥ sán kratvā́ janiṣṭhāḥ áṣāḷhaḥ ||
హే ఇంద్రా! నిన్ను పిలిచే హవం నీ మహిమను వ్యాపింపజేస్తుంది—ఇది ‘బ్రహ్మ’ (స్తుతి); దానిని నీవు నీ శక్తితో ఋషుల మధ్య కాపాడుతావు. నీవు ఉగ్రుడై చేతిలో వజ్రాన్ని ధరించినప్పుడు, నీవు ఘోరుడు, ప్రబలుడు; స్వక్రతువుతో (సంకల్పబలంతో) జన్మిస్తావు—అజేయుడు, అషాళ్హుడు.
