Sukta 7.104
न वा उ सोमो वृजिनं हिनोति न क्षत्रियं मिथुया धारयन्तम् । हन्ति रक्षो हन्त्यासद्वदन्तमुभाविन्द्रस्य प्रसितौ शयाते ॥
ná vā u sómo vṛjináṃ hinoti ná kṣatríyaṃ mithuyā́ dhāráyantam | hánti rákṣo hánty ásad vádantam ubhā́v índrasya prásitau śayāte ||
సోముడు వృజినుడు—కుటిలుణ్ని—ముందుకు నడిపించడు; మిథ్యా-భ్రమను ధరించే క్షత్రియుణ్నీ కాదు. అతడు రక్షస్సును హతమార్చుతాడు; అసద్వదంతుడు—అసత్యవక్తను—కూడా సంహరిస్తాడు; ఈ ఇద్దరూ ఇంద్రుని ‘ప్రసితి’—నియోజిత శక్తి—పరిధిలోనే పడివుంటారు.
