प्र चित्रमर्कं गृणते तुराय मारुताय स्वतवसे भरध्वम् । ये सहांसि सहसा सहन्ते रेजते अग्ने पृथिवी मखेभ्यः ॥

prá citrám arkáṃ gṛṇaté turā́ya mārútāya svátavase bharadhvam | yé sahā́ṃsi sáhasā sáhante réjate agne pṛthivī́ makhébhyaḥ ||

వేగవంతుడైన, స్వతవస్ (స్వబలం) గల మరుత్-శక్తికై గానకునికి ఈ ప్రకాశమయ చిత్ర అర్కం/స్తుతిని ముందుకు తెచ్చండి. బలంతో ప్రతిఘటనలను తట్టుకొని జయించేవారు—హే అగ్నీ! వారి మఖ (యజ్ఞ)ాల వల్ల భూమి కంపిస్తుంది.
