उप नः सूनवो गिरः शृण्वन्त्वमृतस्य ये । सुमृळीका भवन्तु नः ॥

úpa naḥ sū́navo gíraḥ śṛṇvantu amṛ́tasya yé | su-mṛḷīkā́ bhavantu naḥ ||

అమృతపు సూనవులు—సమీపించేవారు—మా వాక్యాలను వినుగాక. వారు మాకు ‘సుమృళీకా’—అత్యంత కరుణామయులు—అగుదురు గాక.
