न वीळवे नमते न स्थिराय न शर्धते दस्युजूताय स्तवान् । अज्रा इन्द्रस्य गिरयश्चिदृष्वा गम्भीरे चिद्भवति गाधमस्मै ॥

ná vīḷáve námate ná sthirā́ya ná śárdhate dasyú-jūtāya stavā́n | ájrā́ índrasya gírayas cid ṛṣvā́ gambhīré cid bhávati gā́dham asmai ||

ఈ స్తవనం బలహీనునికి నమలదు; కేవలం స్థిరమైనదానికి కూడా కాదు; దస్యు-శక్తిచే నడిపింపబడే ఒత్తిడికి లొంగదు. ఇంద్రుని అచలమైన, ఎత్తైన పర్వతములే అతనికి ‘గాధం’—దాటే చోటుగా—మారుతాయి; లోతైనదైనా అతనికి దాటదగినదవుతుంది.
