Sukta 5.85
इमामू नु कवितमस्य मायां महीं देवस्य नकिरा दधर्ष । एकं यदुद्ना न पृणन्त्येनीरासिञ्चन्तीरवनयः समुद्रम् ॥
imā́m ū̀ nú kavítamasya māyā́ṃ mahī́ṃ devásya nákir ā́ dadharṣa | ékaṃ yád udnā́ ná pṛṇanty énīr āsiñcántīr avánayaḥ samudrám ||
ఇప్పుడు నేను అత్యంత దర్శనశక్తిగల ఆ దేవుని ఈ మహామాయను—అతని మహా సృష్టిశక్తిని—వర్ణిస్తున్నాను; దానిని ఎవరూ జయించలేరు. నదులు నిరంతరం నీటిని పోసినా, ఆ ఒకే మహాసముద్రాన్ని అవి నింపలేవు; అలాగే ఈ విస్తారమైన (అనంత) సత్తా అన్ని ప్రవాహాలను తనలో సమాహరించుకొని, తానేమాత్రం క్షీణించదు.
