Sukta 5.83
अच्छा वद तवसं गीर्भिराभिः स्तुहि पर्जन्यं नमसा विवास । कनिक्रदद्वृषभो जीरदानू रेतो दधात्योषधीषु गर्भम् ॥
áchā vada tavásaṃ gī́rbhir ābhíḥ stuhí parjányam namasā́ vivāsa | kánikradad vṛṣabhó jī́radānū réto dadhāty óṣadhīṣu gárbham ||
ఈ ప్రేరిత గీర్భులతో ఆ మహాబలవంతునితో పలుకు; నమస్కారంతో పర్జన్యుని స్తుతించి అతనిని సమీపానికి ఆహ్వానించు. గర్జించుచు, శీఘ్రదానశక్తిగల వృషభుడై, అతడు ఓషధుల్లో రేతస్—జీవబీజం—నిలుపుతాడు; భూమి-ప్రకృతిలో వృద్ధి యొక్క గుప్త గర్భాన్ని ఉంచుతాడు.
