वातत्विषो मरुतो वर्षनिर्णिजो यमा इव सुसदृशः सुपेशसः । पिशङ्गाश्वा अरुणाश्वा अरेपसः प्रत्वक्षसो महिना द्यौरिवोरवः ॥
vā́ta-tviṣo marúto várṣa-nirnijo yamā́ iva súsadṛśaḥ supéśasaḥ | piśáṅgāśvā aruṇā́śvā arepásaḥ prátvakṣaso mahinā́ dyáur ivóravaḥ ||
వాయు-తేజస్సుతో ప్రకాశించే మరుతులు, వర్ష-వస్త్రంతో ఆవృతులు; యమ-యుగలంలా సుసమానులు, సురూపులు. పిశంగ అశ్వులు, అరుణ అశ్వులు కలవారు, నిర్దోషులు, బలమైన అవయవాలు కలవారు—మహిమచేత ఆకాశంలా విస్తార-నాదులు.
