तं वः शर्धं रथेशुभं त्वेषं पनस्युमा हुवे । यस्मिन्त्सुजाता सुभगा महीयते सचा मरुत्सु मीळ्हुषी ॥

táṃ vaḥ śárdhaṃ ratheśúbhaṃ tvéṣaṃ panasýum ā́ huve | yásmin sujā́tā subhágā mahīyáte sácā marútsu mīḷhuṣī́ ||

రథంపై శోభించే మీ ఆ తేజోమయమైన, వేగవంతమైన, యజ్ఞ-ఆనందాన్ని కోరే శర్ధ్ (దళం) ను మేము ఇక్కడికి ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాము. అందులో సుజాతా, సుభగా శక్తి మరుతులతో కలిసి మహిమలో వృద్ధి చెందుతుంది—ఆమె ఉదార దాత్రి.
