यो जागार तमृचः कामयन्ते यो जागार तमु सामानि यन्ति । यो जागार तमयं सोम आह तवाहमस्मि सख्ये न्योकाः ॥
Transliteration
yó jāgā́ra tám ṛ́caḥ kāmayante yó jāgā́ra tám u sāmā́ni yanti | yó jāgā́ra tám ayám sóma āha távā́ham asmi sakhyé nyòkāḥ ||
Translation
ఎవడు జాగరూకుడై ఉన్నాడో—అతనిని ఋచః వాక్యాలు కోరుతాయి; ఎవడు జాగరూకుడై ఉన్నాడో—అతని వైపు సామానులు సాగుతాయి. ఎవడు జాగరూకుడై ఉన్నాడో—అతనిగూర్చే ఈ సోమము పలుకుతుంది: ‘నేను నీ వాడను; సఖ్యములో, నీతో నివసించువాడను.’
