Sukta 5.31
आयं जना अभिचक्षे जगामेन्द्रः सखायं सुतसोममिच्छन् । वदन्ग्रावाव वेदिं भ्रियाते यस्य जीरमध्वर्यवश्चरन्ति ॥
ā́yaṃ janā́ abhicákṣe jagā́mendraḥ sákhāyaṃ sutásomam icchán | vádān grā́vā́va védiṃ bhriyāte yásya jīrám adhvaryávaś cáranti ||
ఓ జనులారా, ఈవాడు (ఇంద్రుడు) మన దృష్టికి వచ్చాడు—సుతసోముడు (సోమాన్ని పిండే వాడు) అయిన తన సఖుడిని కోరుతూ. పలుకుతూ గ్రావా (పిండే రాళ్లు) వేదికకు మోసుకొనివస్తారు; అతనికోసం అధ్వర్యులు ఈ జీవంత—జాగృత—అధ్వరం (యజ్ఞక్రియ) అంతటా సంచరిస్తారు.
