अनु यदीं मरुतो मन्दसानमार्चन्निन्द्रं पपिवांसं सुतस्य । आदत्त वज्रमभि यदहिं हन्नपो यह्वीरसृजत्सर्तवा उ ॥
Transliteration
ánu yád īṃ marúto mandasānám ā́rcann índraṃ papivā́ṃsaṃ sutásya | ā́datta vájram abhí yád ahíṃ hánn ápo yáhvīr asṛ́jat sártavā ú ||
Translation
ఆనందంతో ఉల్లసించిన మరుత్గణాలు, నలిపిన సొమాన్ని పానంచేసిన ఇంద్రుని స్తుతిగా గానంచేసినప్పుడు, ఆయన వజ్రాన్ని ఎత్తుకున్నాడు. అడ్డుకట్ట వేసే అహి (వృత్రుడు) పై ఆయన ప్రహారం చేసినప్పుడు, బలమైన, ఎత్తుగా ఉప్పొంగే అపః (జలధారలు) ప్రవహించుటకు విడుదలయ్యాయి.
