Sukta 4.20
नू ष्टुत इन्द्र नू गृणान इषं जरित्रे नद्यो न पीपेः । अकारि ते हरिवो ब्रह्म नव्यं धिया स्याम रथ्यः सदासाः ॥
nū́ ṣṭutá indra nū́ gṛṇān á íṣaṃ jaritré nádyo na pīpeḥ | ákāri te harivo bráhma návyaṃ dhiyā́ syāma rathyáḥ sadā-sā́ḥ ||
ఇప్పుడు, హే ఇంద్రా, స్తుతింపబడినవాడవై, పాడబడినవాడవై, జరిద్ర (గాయకుడు) కొరకు ఇష్ (ప్రేరణ/పోషణ-శక్తి) నదులు ప్రవాహాలను నింపినట్లు పెంపొందించు. హే హరివో (హరి అశ్వాల అధిపతి), నీ కొరకు నూతన బ్రహ్మన్ (ప్రేరిత వాక్యం) చేయబడింది; ధీ (జాగృత బుద్ధి) ద్వారా మేము రథ్య—యాత్రకు తగినవారు—అగుదుము, ఎల్లప్పుడూ నీ సఖ్యంలో ఆసీనులమై.
