Sukta 3.54
सदा सुगः पितुमाँ अस्तु पन्था मध्वा देवा ओषधीः सं पिपृक्त । भगो मे अग्ने सख्ये न मृध्या उद्रायो अश्यां सदनं पुरुक्षोः ॥
sadā́ su-gáḥ pitu-mā́m̐ astu pánthā mádhvā devā́ oṣádhīḥ sáṃ pipṛkta | bhágo me agne sakhyé ná mṛdhyā údrāyo aśyāṃ sádanaṃ puru-kṣóḥ ||
మార్గం ఎల్లప్పుడూ సుగమంగా, నిజమైన పితు (పోషణం)తో సమృద్ధిగా ఉండుగాక. దేవులారా, మధువుతో మా అంతరంలో ఓషధీ (ఔషధ‑శక్తులు)ను సమ్యక్గా సమన్వయపరచండి. అగ్నీ, నా కొరకు భగునివలె, సఖ్యంలో విఫలమవకు; నేను ఉద్రాయమై—ఉన్నతమై—పురుక్షోః (విస్తృత విస్తారం) యొక్క సదనం, ఆ నివాసాన్ని, పొందుదును.
