उदस्तम्भीत्समिधा नाकमृष्वोऽग्निर्भवन्नुत्तमो रोचनानाम् । यदी भृगुभ्यः परि मातरिश्वा गुहा सन्तं हव्यवाहं समीधे ॥

Transliteration

úd astambhīt samídhā nā́kam ṛ́ṣvo 'gnír bhávann uttamó rocanā́nām | yadī́ bhṛ́gubhyaḥ pári mātáriśvā guhā́ sántaṃ havyavā́haṃ samī́dhe ||

Translation

సమిధతో అతడు ఆకాశాన్ని స్థంభింపజేసినట్లయ్యాడు; ఋష్వుడైన అగ్ని, రోచనమయ లోకాలలో ఉత్తముడయ్యాడు. భృగువుల కొరకు మాతరిశ్వా, గుహలో గుప్తంగా ఉన్న హవ్యవాహ (ఆహుతి-వాహకుడు)ను ప్రజ్వలింపజేసినప్పుడు.
