Sukta 3.4
प्र दीधितिर्विश्ववारा जिगाति होतारमिळः प्रथमं यजध्यै । अच्छा नमोभिर्वृषभं वन्दध्यै स देवान्यक्षदिषितो यजीयान् ॥
prá dī́dhitir viśvá-vārā jigāti hótāram iḷáḥ prathamáṃ yájadhyai | ácchā námo-bhir vṛṣabháṃ vandádhyai sá devā́ny ákṣad iṣitó yajī́yān ||
సర్వ వరాలతో సమృద్ధమైన దీప్త ప్రేరణ ముందుకు సాగుతుంది—యజనార్థం ప్రథమ పురోహితుడు, ఇళా-సంబంధ హోతరుని వైపు. నమస్కారాలతో అది వృషభుని (బలవంతుని) వందించడానికి చేరుతుంది. ఆయన ప్రేరితుడు; యజ్ఞానికి అత్యంత యోగ్యుడు; దేవులను యజించాడు.
