Sukta 3.30
सहदानुं पुरुहूत क्षियन्तमहस्तमिन्द्र सं पिणक्कुणारुम् । अभि वृत्रं वर्धमानं पियारुमपादमिन्द्र तवसा जघन्थ ॥
sahádānuṃ puruhūta kṣiyántam ahástam indra sáṃ piṇak kúṇārum | abhí vṛtráṃ várdhamānaṃ piyā́rum apā́dam indra távasā jaghántha ||
ఓ పురుహూత ఇంద్రా! నీవు కూణారు—సహదాను, క్షయపరచువాడు, హస్తరహితుడు—అతనిని చూర్ణం చేసితివి. ఇంకా పెరుగుచున్న వృత్రుడు, పియారు—వాపసిన అంధకారమయ నిరోధం, పాదరహితుడు—అతనినీ, ఓ ఇంద్రా, నీ తేజోబలంతో సంహరించితివి.
