Sukta 2.27
सुगो हि वो अर्यमन्मित्र पन्था अनृक्षरो वरुण साधुरस्ति । तेनादित्या अधि वोचता नो यच्छता नो दुष्परिहन्तु शर्म ॥
sugó hí vo aryaman mitra pánthā anṛkṣaró varuṇa sādhúr ásti | ténādityā́ ádhi vocatā no yácchatā no duḥ-parihántu śárma ||
అర్యమన్, మిత్రా! మీ మార్గం నిజంగా సుగమమైనది; వరుణా! అది జారనిది, విఫలంకాని, సాధువైన (ధర్మమయమైన) మార్గం. ఆ మార్గముననే, ఆదిత్యులారా! మాపై అధిష్ఠించి శాసనవాణి పలుకండి, మమ్మల్ని నియమించండి; అన్ని కఠిన ఆపదలను దూరం చేసే శర్మ (ఆశ్రయం) మాకు ప్రసాదించండి.
