तदिद्ध्यस्य सवनं विवेरपो यथा पुरा मनवे गातुमश्रेत् । गोअर्णसि त्वाष्ट्रे अश्वनिर्णिजि प्रेमध्वरेष्वध्वराँ अशिश्रयुः ॥

tád íd dhy asyá sávanaṃ vivér apo yáthā purā́ mánave gātúm áśret | goárṇasi tvā́ṣṭre áśvanirṇiji préma dhvaréṣv adhvarā́m aśiśrayuḥ ||

ఎందుకంటే ఆ సవనమే జలాలను విప్పింది; పూర్వకాలంలో అది మనువుకు గమించే మార్గాన్ని ఏర్పరచినట్లే. గో-అర్ణసి (గోసమృద్ధి) క్షేత్రంలో, త్వాష్ట్ర (త్వష్టృ-నిర్మిత) అశ్వ-నిర్ణిజ్ (అశ్వ-దీప్త) క్రమంలో, వారు అధ్వరాలను (యజ్ఞాలను) అధ్వరాలలో (విధి-మార్గాలలో) ముందుకు స్థాపించారు. —అలాగే మా సమ్యక్ హవి అంతర్జలాలను తెరిచి, మనుష్యునికి గమనపథాన్ని సృష్టించుగాక.
