प्र सु व आपो महिमानमुत्तमं कारुर्वोचाति सदने विवस्वतः । प्र सप्तसप्त त्रेधा हि चक्रमुः प्र सृत्वरीणामति सिन्धुरोजसा ॥
prá su va ā́po mahimā́nam ut-tamáṃ kā́rur vocāti sádane vivásvataḥ | prá sapta-sapta tredhā́ hí cakramuḥ prá sṛ́tvarīṇām áti síndhur ójasā ||
హే ఆపః (జలదేవతలారా), వివస్వతుని సదనంలో మీ ఉత్తమ మహిమను నేను ప్రకటిస్తున్నాను. ఏడు మరియు ఏడు ప్రవాహాలు త్రివిధ క్రమంలో చలించాయి; మరియు సింధు తన ఓజస్సుతో వేగంగా ప్రవహించే నదులనూ అధిగమిస్తుంది—చేతన-శక్తి యొక్క అధిపత్య ప్రవాహంగా.
