Sukta 10.116
ममत्तु त्वा दिव्यः सोम इन्द्र ममत्तु यः सूयते पार्थिवेषु । ममत्तु येन वरिवश्चकर्थ ममत्तु येन निरिणासि शत्रून् ॥
mámattu tvā divyáḥ sóma indra mámattu yáḥ sū́yate pārthivéṣu | mámattu yéna várivaś cakártha mámattu yéna nir-iṇā́si śátrūn ||
ఓ ఇంద్రా, దివ్య సోమం నిన్ను మత్తుని చేయుగాక; పార్థివ లోకాలలో పిండబడే ఆ సోమమూ నిన్ను మత్తుని చేయుగాక. నీవు మా కోసం వరివస్ (విస్తారమైన స్థలం/ఆశ్రయం) కల్పించిన దానివల్ల—అదే నిన్ను మత్తుని చేయుగాక; నీవు శత్రువులను నిరిణాసి (నిర్మూలం/బహిష్కరణ) చేసే దానివల్ల—అదే నిన్ను మత్తుని చేయుగాక.
