सं यन्मिथः पस्पृधानासो अग्मत शुभे मखा अमिता जायवो रणे । युवोरह प्रवणे चेकिते रथो यदश्विना वहथः सूरिमा वरम् ॥
sáṃ yán mitháḥ paspṛdhānā́so ágmat śubhé makhā́ ámitā jā́yavo ráṇe | yuvór áha praváṇe cékitē rátho yád aśvinā́ váhathaḥ sūrím ā́ váram ||
పోటీదారులు పరస్పరం స్పర్ధిస్తూ శుభ మఖంలో (సుందర యజ్ఞం/పోటీ) సమకూరినప్పుడు—అమిత శక్తులు రణంలో విజయాన్ని కోరుతూ—అప్పుడు, ఓ అశ్వినౌ, ప్రవణంలో మీ రథం నిశ్చయంగా ప్రకాశిస్తుంది; మీరు వీరుణ్ని వరణీయ వరం (శ్రేష్ఠ అనుగ్రహం) వైపు మోసుకెళ్లునప్పుడు.
