मा नस्तोके तनये मा न आयौ मा नो गोषु मा नो अश्वेषु रीरिषः । वीरान्मा नो रुद्र भामितो वधीर्हविष्मन्तः सदमित्त्वा हवामहे ॥
mā́ nas toké tánaye mā́ na āyáu mā́ no góṣu mā́ no áśveṣu rīriṣaḥ | vīrā́n mā́ no rudra bhāmitó vadhīr havíṣmantaḥ sádam ít tvā havāmahe ||
ఓ రుద్రా! మా చిన్నబిడ్డలోను మా సంతానంలోను మాకు హాని చేయకు; మా ప్రాణంలోను హాని చేయకు. మా గోవుల్లోను మా అశ్వాల్లోను మాకు క్షతి కలగనీయకు. కోపంతో ఉన్నప్పటికీ మా వీరులను వధించకు; హవిస్సు ధరించిన మేము నిన్ను ఎల్లప్పుడూ ఆహ్వానిస్తున్నాము.
