वीचीकूचीतिवाश्य्नत्यश्शारिकावेश्मसुस्थिताः ।पतन्तिग्रथिताश्चापिनिर्जिताःकलहैषिणः ।।।।

Transliteration

vīcīkūcīti vāśyantyaḥ śārikā veśmasu sthitāḥ | patanti grathitāś cāpi nirjitāḥ kalahaiṣiṇaḥ ||

Translation

ఇళ్లలో ఉన్న మైనా పక్షులు ‘వీచీ-కూచీ’ అనే విచిత్ర స్వరంతో అరుస్తున్నాయి; కలహప్రియ పక్షులు కూడా పోరాటంలో చిక్కి ఓడిపోయి కూలిపోతున్నాయి—ఇదీ అపశకునమే।
