Sita Seen in the Ashoka Grove
पीतं कनकपट्टाभं स्रस्तं तद्वसनं शुभम्।उत्तरीयं नगासक्तं तदा दृष्टं प्लवङ्गमैः।।।।
pītaṃ kanakapaṭṭābhaṃ srastaṃ tad vasanaṃ śubham |
uttarīyaṃ nagāsaktaṃ tadā dṛṣṭaṃ plavaṅgamaiḥ ||
పసుపు వర్ణంలో, కనకపట్టువలె మెరుస్తూ ఉన్న ఆ శుభమైన ఉత్తరీయం జారిపోయింది; అది చెట్టుకు చిక్కినప్పుడు వానరులు దానిని అక్కడే చూశారు।
"The shining yellow upper garment like a golden cloth was torn. Flung down, it stuck to a tree which the monkeys noticed.
