अबलां मृगशाबाक्षीं वीक्षमाणां ततस्ततः।।।।बाष्पाम्बुपरिपूर्णेन कृष्णवक्राक्षिपक्ष्मणा।वदनेनाप्रसन्नेन निःश्वसन्तीं पुनः पुनः।।।।

Transliteration

abalāṃ mṛgaśābākṣīṃ vīkṣamāṇāṃ tatas tataḥ | bāṣpāmbuparipūrṇena kṛṣṇavakrākṣipakṣmaṇā | vadanenāprasannena niḥśvasantīṃ punaḥ punaḥ ||

Translation

ఆ అబల, మృగశావకనయనమైన దేవి అటూ ఇటూ చూస్తూ ఉండేది; నల్లని వంకర కనురెప్పల కింద ఆమె కన్నులు కన్నీటితో నిండిపోయి, ముఖం ప్రసన్నంగా లేక, మళ్లీ మళ్లీ నిట్టూర్పులు విడిచేది।
