अयोध्याकाण्डे द्विषष्टितमः सर्गः
Kausalyā consoles Daśaratha; grief, remorse, and nightfall
दह्यामान स्सशोकाभ्यां कौसल्यामाह भूपतिः।वेपमानोऽञ्जलिं कृत्वा प्रसादार्थमवाङ्मुखः।।।।
dahyāmānaḥ sa śokābhyāṃ kauśalyām āha bhūpatiḥ |
vepamāno ’ñjaliṃ kṛtvā prasādārtham avāṅmukhaḥ ||
రెండు విధాల శోకంతో దహించబడుతున్న రాజు, వణుకుతూ, తల వంచి, అంజలి బద్ధం చేసి, ప్రసాదార్థంగా కౌసల్యను ఉద్దేశించి పలికాడు।
