सुकुमार्या तपस्विन्या सुमन्त्र सह सीतया।राजपुत्रौ कथं पादैरवरुह्य रथाद्गतौ।।।।

sukumāryā tapasvinyā sumantra saha sītayā |

rāja-putrau kathaṃ pādair avaruhya rathād gatau ||

ఓ సుమంత్రా! సుకుమారిణి సీత—ఇప్పుడు తపస్వినిలా కష్టాలు భరిస్తూ—ఆమెతో కలిసి ఆ ఇద్దరు రాజకుమారులు రథం దిగి ఎలా పాదయాత్రగా వెళ్లారు?
