sa tāsāṃ vacanaṃ śrutvā prakṛtīnāṃ narādhipaḥ | taṃ tatyājāhitaṃ putraṃ teṣāṃ priya-cikīrṣayā ||2.36.23||

ప్రజల వచనము విని నరాధిపుడు, వారి ప్రీతిని కలిగించుటకై, ఆ హితరహితమైన కుమారుని త్యజించెను।
