सीताया वनानुगमननिश्चयः

Sita’s Resolve to Accompany Rama to the Forest

अथ मामेवमव्यग्रां वनं नैव नयिष्यति।विषमद्यैव पास्यामि मा विशं द्विषतां गमम्।।2.30.19।।

atha mām evam avyagrāṃ vanaṃ naiva nayiṣyati | viṣam adyaiva pāsyāmi mā vaśaṃ dviṣatāṃ gamam || 2.30.19 ||

నేను ఇలా దృఢనిశ్చయంతో, చలనం లేక నిలిచినా నీవు నన్ను వనానికి తీసుకుపోకపోతే, నేను ఈ రోజే విషం త్రాగుతాను; శత్రువుల అధీనంలో జీవించడానికి నేను వెళ్లను।
