स प्राञ्जलिरभिप्रेत्य प्रणतः पितुरन्तिके।।।।नाम स्वं श्रावयन्रामो ववन्दे चरणौ पितुः।
sa prāñjalir abhipretya praṇataḥ pitur antike |
nāma svaṃ śrāvayan rāmo vavande caraṇau pituḥ ||
రాముడు అంజలి బట్టి ముందుకు వెళ్లి తండ్రి సమీపమున దండవత్ ప్రణమించాడు; వినయముతో తన నామమును వినిపించి తండ్రి పాదములకు వందనము చేసెను।
Rama, approached his father with folded palms and bowed low near him, pronounced his (own) name and touched his father's feet with reverence.
