अष्टादशः सर्गः

Kaikeyī Discloses the Boons: Exile to Daṇḍaka and Bharata’s Consecration

यतोमूलं नरः पश्येत्प्रादुर्भावमिहात्मनः।कथं तस्मिन्नवर्तेत प्रत्यक्षे सति दैवते।।।।

yato mūlaṃ naraḥ paśyet prādurbhāvam ihātmanaḥ | kathaṃ tasmin na varteta pratyakṣe sati daivate ||

మనిషి ఈ లోకంలో తన జన్మకు మూలమైన కారణాన్ని ప్రత్యక్షంగా చూసినప్పుడు, కళ్లముందే ఉన్న ఆ దైవస్వరూపం సన్నిధిలో అతడు దానికి అనుగుణంగా ఎలా ప్రవర్తించకుండా ఉండగలడు?
