तपस्विनाम् औत्सुक्यं राक्षसत्रासश्च

Ascetics’ Anxiety and the Fear of Rakshasas

रामः संसाद्य ऋषिगणमनुगमनाद्देशात्तस्मात्कुलपतिमभिवाद्य ऋषिम्।सम्यक्प्रीतैस्तैरनुमत उपदिष्टार्थः पुण्यं वासाय स्वनिलयमुपसम्पेदे।।2.116.25।।

rāmaḥ saṁsādya ṛṣigaṇam anugamanād deśāt tasmāt kulapatim abhivādya ṛṣim |

samyakprītaiḥ tair anumata upadiṣṭārthaḥ puṇyaṁ vāsāya svanilayam upasampede ||2.116.25||

రాముడు కొంత దూరం వరకు ఋషిగణాన్ని అనుసరించి వెళ్లి, ఆపై వీడ్కోలు చెప్పి వారి నాయకుడైన కులపతి ఋషికి నమస్కరించాడు. సంతోషించిన మునుల అనుమతి పొందీ, వారి ఉపదేశార్థాన్ని సమ్యకంగా గ్రహించీ, నివాసార్థం తన పుణ్యనిలయానికి తిరిగి చేరాడు.

Rama, followed the sages for some distance to bid them farewell. He paid obeisance to the chief of the group and having grasped the instruction of the highly pleased sages, he with their consent returned to his holy hermitage.
