The Greatness of the Kāliṇdī (Yamunā): Merit of Bathing, Charity, and Faith

कृमिवर्चस्तु भस्मादि परिणामगुणावहम् । ईदृक्शरीरं व्यर्थं हि यमुनामज्जनं विना

kṛmivarcastu bhasmādi pariṇāmaguṇāvaham | īdṛkśarīraṃ vyarthaṃ hi yamunāmajjanaṃ vinā

ఈ దేహము కృమి-విష్ఠాసమం; పరిణామధర్మముచే చివరకు భస్మాదిగా మారుతుంది. యమునలో మజ్జనం లేకుండా ఇటువంటి దేహము నిజంగా వ్యర్థమే.
