गुणं वक्ष्यामि विप्रर्षे सतीनां यादृशं दृढम् । शुद्धवंशो भवेत्तस्या नित्यं लक्ष्मीः प्रवर्तते

guṇaṃ vakṣyāmi viprarṣe satīnāṃ yādṛśaṃ dṛḍham | śuddhavaṃśo bhavettasyā nityaṃ lakṣmīḥ pravartate

హే శ్రేష్ఠ బ్రాహ్మణా! సతీ స్త్రీల దృఢమైన గుణాన్ని నేను వివరిస్తాను. ఆమె వల్ల వంశం శుద్ధమవుతుంది, లక్ష్మీ నిత్యం నివసించి వికసిస్తుంది.
