Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: raudra
It marks oppression of the innocent as a clear sign of pāpa and warns that such intent binds one to painful karmic results across realms, reinforcing Dharma as protection of the blameless.
Bhakti is grounded in compassion and non-harm; one who seeks to trouble the innocent acts against sattva and cannot sustain pure devotion to Vishnu, which requires daya (kindness) and restraint.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyakarana, Jyotisha, or Kalpa) is taught here; the practical takeaway is ethical discipline (sadachara) as the foundation for all ritual merit and spiritual progress.
