Narada (teaching in the Narada Purana’s instructional dialogue)

Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: vira

Bhakti is strengthened by sāttvika character—steadiness, forgiveness, and goodwill. The verse implies that a devotee’s goodness should remain constant even when tested, making their conduct itself an offering aligned with Dharma.
No specific Vedanga technique is taught in this shloka; the practical takeaway is sadācāra (right conduct), which supports all scriptural study—whether Śikṣā, Vyākaraṇa, or ritual practice—by grounding it in ethical discipline.
