तत्रैव निंदानिरता वृथाविश्रंभिणो जनाः । निदां कुर्वंति सततं पितृमातृसुतेषु च ॥ ६७ ॥
tatraiva niṃdāniratā vṛthāviśraṃbhiṇo janāḥ | nidāṃ kurvaṃti satataṃ pitṛmātṛsuteṣu ca || 67 ||
అక్కడే జనులు నిందలో మునిగి, విచక్షణలేక వ్యర్థంగా విశ్వసిస్తారు. తండ్రి, తల్లి, సంతానాలపైనా నిత్యం అపవాదం చేస్తారు॥

The verse warns that habitual slander corrupts the mind and breaks dharmic bonds; purity of speech is treated as a foundational discipline for inner clarity and spiritual progress.
Bhakti requires śuddha-vāk (pure speech) and goodwill; constant criticism—especially toward one’s own family—creates agitation and offense, which obstructs steady remembrance of the Lord.
It aligns with Śikṣā and Vyākaraṇa in practice: disciplined speech (proper use of words) and mindful expression, emphasizing that language should be used for truth and welfare rather than nindā.
