कामतो गोवधे नैव शुद्धिर्द्दष्टा मनीषिभिः । पानशय्यासनाद्येषु पुष्पमूलफलेषु च ॥ ७८ ॥
kāmato govadhe naiva śuddhirddaṣṭā manīṣibhiḥ | pānaśayyāsanādyeṣu puṣpamūlaphaleṣu ca || 78 ||
కామపూర్వకంగా గోవధ చేసినచో మునీశ్వరులు ఏ శుద్ధినీ అంగీకరించలేదు. అలాగే పానం, శయ్య, ఆసనం మొదలైన వాటిలోను, పుష్పం, మూలం, ఫలం మొదలైన వాటిలోను (అటువంటి మహాపాపానికి) శుద్ధి లేదని చెప్పబడింది॥७८॥
