Gṛhastha-nitya-karman: Śauca, Sandhyā-vidhi, Pañca-yajña, and Āśrama-krama

निर्द्वेद्वो निरहंकारो निर्ममः सर्वदा भवेत् । शमादिगुणसंयुक्तः कामक्रोधविवर्जितः ॥ ९३ ॥

nirdvedvo nirahaṃkāro nirmamaḥ sarvadā bhavet | śamādiguṇasaṃyuktaḥ kāmakrodhavivarjitaḥ || 93 ||

మనిషి ఎల్లప్పుడూ ద్వేషరహితుడు, అహంకారరహితుడు, మమకారరహితుడు కావాలి; శమాది గుణాలతో యుక్తుడై కామక్రోధాలను విడిచివేయాలి।
