Gṛhastha-praveśa: Vivāha-bheda, Ācāra-śauca, Śrāddha-kāla, and Vaiṣṇava-lakṣaṇa

न दुर्जनैः सह वसे न्नाशास्त्रं श्रृणुयात्तथा । आसवद्यूतगीतेषु द्विजस्तु न रर्तिं चरेत् ॥ २९ ॥

na durjanaiḥ saha vase nnāśāstraṃ śrṛṇuyāttathā | āsavadyūtagīteṣu dvijastu na rartiṃ caret || 29 ||

ద్విజుడు దుర్జనసంగంలో నివసించకూడదు, అశాస్త్రీయ ఉపదేశాలు వినకూడదు; అలాగే మద్యం, జూదం, అశ్లీల గీతాలలో ఆసక్తి చూపకూడదు।
